Veterans Day HONOR RUN AND RUCK

RACE Info!

 The East Hamilton High High School JROTC Veterans Honor Run is a new event intended to bring together Veterans and supporters in the area for a morning of camaraderie at Enterprise South Nature Park. The event will include a 5K run and ruck, a veterans recognition ceremony and then a 10K run and ruck. You can participate in either or both distances. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Wreaths Across Chattanooga. The ruck division requires a 35 pound ruck. All Veterans are encouraged to attend and be recognized during the ceremony, even if they do not participate in the run. 

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE:

7 AM - Packet Pickup

8 AM - 5K start

9 AM Veterans Recognition Ceremony

9:30 AM - 10K start

11 AM Awards ceremony

     The race packet pickup and start/finish will be at gate 10, near the mountain bike parking area. The park will be closed for normal operations during this but still, please car pool if possible because parking is limited. Awards will be given in age groups and ruck division.

     Both routes are a mix of road, XC running trails and mountain bike single track through the forested areas and ammo bunkers of ESNP. The 5K route has 417 feet of vertical gain.The 10K route has 417 feet of vertical gain.
